The Barista at Nubian Markets helps create a warm, welcoming café experience through thoughtfully prepared drinks and attentive customer service. From making espresso drinks, teas, lemonades, and seasonal specialties to taking orders, maintaining a clean and organized bar, restocking supplies, and connecting with customers, you’ll help bring the flavors and spirit of Nubian Markets with each drink. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about coffee, culture, and community; prior barista or café experience is strongly preferred.

The Kitchen & Prep Team Member at Nubian Markets helps keep the café running smoothly behind the scenes. From preparing ingredients and recipes to cooking menu items, organizing the kitchen, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, you’ll play an important role in delivering consistently delicious food to every customer. This position requires prior professional kitchen or food preparation experience and is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about food, culture, and community.

We’re looking for an experienced halal butcher, ServSafe Manager certified preferred. The butcher at Nubian Markets will manage inventory, production, and be the face of the butchery for customers. This person should have incredible customer service skills, and be able to manage the butchery operations in conjunction with the kitchen and Chef de Cuisine, and support the cafe and grocery operations of Nubian Markets.
